Hiring the Hall
Members of the public can book Collingwood Hall for their needs, for commercial, personal or community purposes. You do not need to be a resident of the Collingwood Estate or of Tower Hamlets to book or use the Hall. Pricing and payment terms for 2025 are below (no VAT applies):
Social events: £60 per hour
Meetings: £30 per hour
Kitchen only: £20 per hour
Full payment of the rental amount, plus a £100 cleaning deposit, is due at least seven days before the event. Conditional on the Centre Manager being satisfied that the Hall has been left in a clean and tidy condition with no damage to the building or facilities, the cleaning deposit will be returned electronically to an account specified at the time of the booking within five business following the event.
In the event of cancellation or postponement, £100 will be retained. The retained amount can be applied to a booking for an event held within six months of the original date.
All events must end by 10.00pm, at which time all guests must vacate the premises. Only persons involved in clearing up following the event may remain in the Hall after this time.
Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a reasonable level - this is a residential area. Neither alcohol nor fireworks are allowed in or immediately outside the building.
